Coventry & Warwickshire Friend has become aware of a number of instances where Coventry Cathedral has refused to allow Civil Partnership photographs to be taken within the Cathedral Ruins because there would be no access to the ruins due to preparations for an event.

However on the day of the Civil Partnerships there were no preparations being made and the ruins were open to the public.

Has this happened to you? Or have you been granted permission?

Then we want to hear from you.

Symon Hill, a Christian writer, is walking from London to Birmingham to repent of his former homophobia. Along the route, he is speaking about his change of heart and the challenges of tackling homophobia today.

Symon has begun his pilgrimage , leaving Birmingham and heading for New Arley in Warwickshire. He is really thankful for the support and positive comments he has been getting on the first day of his journey.
